Mornington Civic Reserve Fenced Dog Park (Mornington)

To the east of the lake and south of the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery is a very large fenced grassy area with the fence line fringed by trees and some additional clumps of trees to explore. The geese in the nearby lake can prove a distraction to some dogs but there is plenty to keep the dogs interested. The dog park is popular and you will find other dogs to interact with during most of the day.

In the north west corner is a huge tree stump which is ideal for climbing and digging under (as evidenced by the excavations underneath). This corner also has a water tap for people and dogs.

There are multiple double gate entrance points for the park which is about 150m long and 80m wide and some of them have rubbish bins and water taps. Some seating is provided.

There is plenty of parking available near the Gallery.

Across the lake there is a decent playground with tables, BBQs, toilets, basketball court and skate park.
