We have 2 boat hire locations on the Mornington Peninsula, so if the weather is not suitable or we are booked up at Mornington, Schnapper Point, we could be able to get you out fishing from our Western Port Bay (Yaringa Boat Hire) boat rental location. We are the only Boat Hire operation in Melbourne that can offer this, giving you the best chance of getting out on your self-drive fishing boat hire!

Not only does Mornington play host to big red Snapper but Australian Salmon, Squid, Cuttle Fish, Red Mullet, Garfish, Pike, Gummy Sharks, King George Whiting, Flathead and Trevally are all regularly landed. In our opinion we have the best Fishing Boat, kayak Hire and Fishing Tackle Store location on Melbourne's Port Phillip bay. Mornington boat hire is sheltered from Southerly and Easterly winds and with deep water close to shore you don't have to venture far from our departure point to get onto the fish and reefs or to see Dolphins, Penguins and Seals. If the wind decides to blow from the West or North, we can get you out fishing in our Western Port Bay fishing boat hire location (only 15 min from Mornington)
