The area to the north behind the sports pavilion, next to the golf course and tennis courts, is off-leash areas. The main sports ground and building areas at Moorleigh Community Village are on-leash areas.
There is a road which runs from Bignell Road through the Moorleigh Community Village down to a car parking area next to the reserve.
The off-leash area is only 70m square. There are some bins near the pavilion. The off-leash area is a slightly sunken area with one soccer goal, football goal posts and a multipurpose sports facility with cricket training nets and multipurpose goals.
