Berwick Springs Playground, Moondarra Drive, Berwick
A delightful fenced playground next to a large lake. There's a fishing rod at the end of the jetty over a pond with yabbies, Eastern longneck turtle, shortfinned eels, rakali, galaxids and frogs. Next to the jetty is a 'speak and listen' system where you can boast about what you caught on your fishing expedition.
Also a metal drum, speedboat on springs/waves with two steering wheels, birds nest swing, climbing cube with climbing wall, ladders, monkey bars and rope nets. Across the path is a structure with a little wave side, large wave slide, ladder, disks on a vertical pole traverse, climbing wall, and shopfront, colourful balls, cup to sit in and spin around, inverted V-shaped climbing structure, lovely frog sculpture and swings.
Outside the fenced area are big grassy areas, basketball court, shelter with table and BBQs, another shelter with two tables, water tap and a little jetty overlooking the lake.
