Monash University Baseball Club (Clayton)
Monash University Baseball Club, the home of the Farmers, has been in existence for more than 50 years, with a proud history in both Victorian summer and winter competitions (including 6 consecutive A Grade flags in the early 80s).
The club plays on Saturdays or Sundays during the winter season. Men's Senior teams play either day (usually Saturday), and Women's usually play Sundays.
Training is conducted on Wednesday nights from 6pm onwards.
Apart from O-Week/Rookie Day (where we encourage rookies to learn the game), we have an extensive social program with regular BBQs, pub meals after training, trivia nights, MLB Game of the Week viewings, and big social events.
We also actively encourage students to participate in the annual State and National University Games as part of the University baseball team. Other Monash students who play with other baseball clubs in Victoria are more than welcome to play with us at these tournaments.
