Monash Chorale (Vermont South)
Monash Chorale is a community choir formed in 1995 by a group interested in fostering opportunities for choral singing in the City of Monash.
Monash Chorale wishes to enhance the enjoyment of choral singing, maintain a community spirit of welcome and acceptance of all members with an interest in singing, develop musical skills and talents leading to a range of performances under the guidance of a Musical Director, provide opportunities for members to entertain in a variety of settings and to a broad range of community groups, promote social interaction amongst choral members and be concerned about their well-being and to encourage in its members a sense of commitment to and pride in belonging to their Chorale.
The choir performs several major concerts each year. Monash Chorale encourages the enjoyment of singing and provides quality entertainment for varied audiences in the community.
Based at Holy Saviour Catholic Church, Highbury Road, Vermont South.
