Marie Kullenberg, owner of MK Nordika, grew up in 'Forest Kindergarten' in Sweden where no matter what the weather, she was encouraged to play, explore and learn outdoors. Kids wore well made, comfortable rainwear which kept us warm and dry but she was surprised when moving to Australia that this was not the case.
We began 6 years ago under the name of Tiny Trolls when we realised there was a lack of comfortable and durable wet weather gear for Aussie kids. We now sell the same Scandinavian rainwear to over 90 kindergartens, playgroups and daycare centres in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales have purchased these sets, embracing the possibilities of giving children the opportunity to play outdoors in all weather.
