Review:

The Aquatic Centre has a nice range of facilities including a 50m pool and diving pool outdoors and a toddlers pool, wave pool and leisure pool indoors. The wave pool has strong waves going in lots of directions and is strong enough to knock kids over at the edge. This pool is really lovely and warm. The other indoor pool varies in depth from 1.2m to 1.6m and has lanes for swimming and a wide recreation area. There is also a toddler area which has a shallow pool and a U shaped pipe with some water sprays.

The outdoor 50m pool varies in depth from 1.0m to 1.8m and has lanes for laps as well as a fairly wide recreation lane. The diving pool has a big range of different height diving boards and is 5m deep.

There is one table under shade sails, fairly limited grassy area and a big area with shade sails at the end of the outdoor pool which has sections of concrete and bare earth underneath - BYO chairs to enjoy this area. There is also a spectator stand under shade sails. There is a kiosk and fair number of tables with limited opening times (the kiosk has more extensive opening hours on the side facing the Information Centre beside the Aquatic Centre).
