Merriwa Park Playground, Ryley Street, Wangaratta

The playground has a number of structures. One has a spiral ladder, climbing wall, ladder with square rungs, fireman's pole, walkway, chain ladder, zig-zag bridge, slanting rope climbing frame, curved monkey bars and horizontal bars.

There is a structure for smaller kids with a wave slide, spiral ladder, chain ladder, steering wheel, little arched walkway, steps, clanger to hit against pipes, abacus and simple alphabet panel. Standalone slide with steps. Four swings and two horse springers and another springer.

Across the road in a grassy area dotted with tall gum trees are three unshaded tables, water tap and toilet and 100m away next to long pond with ducks and a stone bridge is a shelter with BBQ, water tap and four unshaded tables. This is a lovely area.

There is a road off Ryley Street / Wangaratta Road which leads to the park.
