Sports
Indoor Cricket - Indoor cricket at Melton Indoor is competitive and athletic in an enjoyable and social environment. We cater for males and females of all ages and abilities. We also have a great social area for friends and family to enjoy.
Indoor cricket is unique because all players participate equally by each batting for four overs and bowling two overs. Another advantage of indoor cricket is that there is limited need for protective gear as the ball has a foam-filled centre and thus is considerably softer than a regular cricket ball.
Indoor cricket is a great one and a quarter hours entertainment with the added bonus that if you get out, you only lose 5 runs and can keep on batting. You are also guaranteed a game each week... we're never rained out!!
Indoor Soccer - Indoor Soccer is an exciting adaptation of the world game and is played in an indoor turf-covered arena. It emphasises running, passing and ball skills to provide a high energy, fast moving game. Indoor Soccer provide the unique skills of the outdoor game with the convenience of indoors and professional competition management.
The rules are simple and all necessary instructions & equipment are supplied. You are also guaranteed a game each week... we're never rained out!
Our Indoor Soccer competition suits players of all ages and abilities, with competitions graded to the standard of the team so you get to play soccer with your friends, work mates or family.
Indoor Netball - Indoor netball is a variation of netball, played exclusively indoors, in which the playing court is surrounded on each side and overhead by a net. The net prevents the ball from leaving the court, reducing the number of playing stoppages. This gives indoor netball a faster pace than netball.
The rules of indoor netball are similar to that of netball, with two teams aiming to score as many goals as possible. An indoor netball game consists of four quarters of 10 minutes. There are two umpires one for each half of the court. The winning team is the one with the most points at the end of the match.
Rebound Volleyball - Rebound Volleyball is fun, challenging and exhilarating! It is also a game that everyone can play! It is a competitive and athletic sport played in an enjoyable and social environment and provides a great way to get fit and meet new friends!
We offer competitions for Mixed 6 a side, using slightly modified rules to ensure individual players can't dominate. Rebound Volleyball is popular because you can jump, dive and scramble without fear of injury. The rules are simple & all necessary instructions & equipment are supplied.
Birthday Parties
Kids birthday parties are run by Micks Jump N Play which is hosted on the premises. Your host will go through an awesome mix of party games the kids will love. Entry to Mick's Jump 'N' Play indoor adventure playground is also included and will be used as part of the entertainment.
