The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel includes a range of exciting new features and technologies that enable the Star to deliver a unique experience and an informative discovery of Melbourne.
Guests enjoy uninterrupted 360-degree views of up to 40 kilometres encompassing the Docklands precinct, Melbourne's CBD, Port Phillip Bay and as far as Mount Macedon, Arthur's Seat and the Dandenong Ranges. The Star is 120 metres high and has 21 spacious, air conditioned cabins.
Melbourne Star is the Southern Hemisphere's only giant observation wheel. With its striking scale and innovative design, complemented by a spectacular LED lighting display the Star provides locals and tourists with a new way to engage with Melbourne's vibrant cityscape.
