McKinnon Reserve Playground, McKinnon Road, McKinnon
A tower with two twisting tunnel slides, dual flying foxes (one with a disk seat and one with a harness seat), parkour area, big bouldering area, basketball court with a netball ring on the side and golf practice cage. This is a playground to be active in.
The main tower has steps to reach the slides. The sides of the tower has a climbing wall, some little ladders and disks on a vertical pole. The tower is connected to an elevated platform, which circles a shady tree, by a rope bridge. The platform has dual wave slides, ladder, steps, rope ladder and monkey bars. Around the tower is a spinning rope cone, pentagonal frame with five swings (maybe mathematicians will know that already), cute wooden cubby, wooden see-saw, balance poles, hammock and petrol bowser.
Shelter with two tables, BBQs, water taps, toilets, unshaded seats and beautifully landscaped areas.
McKinnon Reserve is home to St Paul's Bentleigh Football Club, St Paul's McKinnon Junior Football Club and McKinnon Cricket Club.
