Masons Lane Recreation Reserve is a large green space with multiple sports facilities located together.
The Reserve contains two full-size ovals, outdoor turf athletics facility including long jump, discus, shot put and track facilities, a baseball field, baseball batting cage, three practice cricket nets and a playground.
The area is an off-lead dog park after 4.30pm on weeknights and weekends, when the area is not being used for events, sporting matches or training.
Review:
Huge grassy areas and fields, but no shade from trees and very limited access hours. There are bins and water tap near the pavilion and the toilets are locked except during games.
There is a baseball field which does have a fence around it. A fenced dog park is being built on the western side of this park and will be completed in 2025.
