Central Goldfields Visitor Information Centre offers a full range of guides and brochures for Central Goldfields and Victoria.
The friendly staff can assist you with finding a full range of souvenirs and locally made craft items all at very reasonable prices, Maryborough Postcards and Gold Nugget Pins.
They also have maps and brochures of Maryborough and surrounding towns. Brochures covering all regions of Victoria and some interstate guides. Accommodation and dining guides, guided tours of Maryborough (on request) plus self guided tour brochures. They also have books and publications on the history of Maryborough and towns within the shire.
Central Goldfields Visitor Information Centre have a fax and photocopying service. As well as clean toilet facilities with baby changing and disabled facilities.
See the life size model of The Welcome Stranger gold nugget (69kgs) and photographs of old Maryborough and their historic buildings, local Parks and Wildlife Information and maps.
The Central Goldfields Visitor Information is located in the Maryborough Resource Centre Building Corner of Nolan and Alma Streets in Maryborough. Also in the building is the Maryborough Library, Community Information Centre and Exhibition Hall.
Opening Hours:
9:00am -5:00pm daily. Closed Christmas Day only.
