Mansfield Town Ride
This 11km long route is a beginner friendly cycle trail that traverses the outer suburbs of Mansfield and the Rifle Butts Reserve. This informative loop is suitable for anyone and everyone that can ride a bike! Stop and check out some of the town's most interesting points of interest over 11km of quiet sealed roads, some dirt roads and pathways. Please allow 1-2hrs for this loop and you will need to carry your own water supply and don't forget your camera!

Points of Interest
1. MANSFIELD INFORMATION CENTRE
Begin your ride here! There is plenty of parking available and don't forget to fill your water bottle.
2. GREAT VICTORIAN RAIL TRAIL
Head out on the Great Victorian Rail Trail to Withers Lane. Turn left and carefully cross the Maroondah Highway on to Kidston Parade.
3. MANSFIELD GOLF COURSE
Continue to the top of the hill and then turn left down Stoneleigh Road and follow on to the Mansfield Cemetery.
4. MANSFIELD CEMETERY
Turn right into Monkey Gully Road. You will find a neat little 'single track' following the RHS of the road if you don't mind a little bit of dirt.
5. HIGHTON MANOR
Head up the hill to Highton Lane where you will see Highton Manor, an imposing and magnificent 1896 period Mansion of significant and historical importance.
6. RIFLE BUTTS RESERVE
Stop here for some mountain biking fun if you are feeling energetic or head straight down Ogilvie's Rd. to Crosby's Lane. It's all downhill from here.
7. MANSFIELD BOTANIC PARK
Follow the pathway through to the back of the Botanic Park and out to the Midland Highway, or stop in the shade for a picnic. Well Done!!
