Manangatang Mallee Garden
The garden which is a worthwhile stop has a ring of Mallee stumps, two interesting sculptures with trinkets from the past embedded into them plus seats and bushes.
The pioneers sold Mallee stumps while they cleared the land. They had to earn a shilling somehow until they could grow wheat. The stumps were a source of energy for cooking and winter warmth.
The garden has a small size and can easily be covered in 5-10 minutes.
