Maldon Area Walks
Set in the foothills of Mt Tarrangower with its rich history and charming location, Maldon offers pleasant walks opening onto scenic vista along meandering roads past historic houses, streetscapes and mining remains. It is hilly enough to give a good workout and has air that you want to breathe. Put on your walking shoes and enjoy this lovely town.
There are seven walks ranging from 2.5km in length. Most walks pass historic mining remains.

The walks start and finish at one of the circle symbols, which will be coloured according to the walks.
Mount Tarrengower walk - The western side of the Mount Tarrengower has granite outcrops and boulders, is shady on hot summer mornings, warm on cold winter afternoons, is a pleasant spot to ramble and is accessible off Mt Tarrangower Road. Park at the top of the track before Ridge Track and walk down (if you don't have a 4WD). The track isn't on any map, but you can't miss it.
