A lot of the reserve is located in a flood retarding basin and water may rise suddenly after heavy rain. There is car parking and big drains near the Kindergarten. Below the car park is a big depression with grassy banks. The grass at the bottom of the depression is quite long and can be wet in the morning with dew even without any rain.
West of the Kindergarten is a baseball field and to the north is a fenced dog park. There is a bin north east of the baseball field.
North of the baseball field are tennis courts and north of the courts are huge sloping, grassy areas dotted with trees which has a playground, basketball court, unshaded table and BBQ.
