Maidstone Community Centre
Maidstone Community Centre is a council run multi-purpose community centre that welcomes people of all ages, cultures and abilities.
We provide an exciting range of community programs and activities focused towards enriching and supporting our community. Our programs include health and wellbeing; language and literacy; digital literacy; art and craft; social and recreational programs.
Facilities include a wood fired pizza oven, Tandoori oven, community garden beds, IT Lab, community hall and rooms for hire.

Keep the kids entertained with a range of courses, including dance and movement, music, drama, yoga and arts, for toddlers to school-aged children.
Health and Wellbeing
Join the Maribyrnong walking group, find a yoga course to suit your ability and many other activities to help you feel about yourself.

Courses to help you use the Microsoft Office suite, the internet, or your smart device.
Learning and Languages
From leadership training and tips on how to get a job, to English, Spanish and Japanese language classes, you can find a course to help you continue your lifelong learning.
Lifestyle and Sustainability
From a range of westside tours to worm farming and composting, there is plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy!
Programs for Older Adults
Come and join a variety of activities for Senior citizens 55+ and above doing carpet bowls, card games and Bingo with a twist or just simply socialise and enjoy a cuppa. Other Seniors programs are Use it or Lose it Gentle Yoga, Light Weights for Seniors, Easy Steps Line Dancing and Tai Chi for Health.
Dance and Music
Waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, cha cha and rumba - find your feet at our adult dance classes.
Arts and Craft
Find a class for sewing, quilting, knitting, watercolour painting, mosaic and other arts and crafts.
Cooking
Need some help in the kitchen? Or just want to learn some new skills? Have fun and learn with these hands-on cooking classes that cover a range of cuisines and themes.
