There are a number of entrances to the reserve but the main one is at the corner of Jull Parade and Heape Way. A dirt path leads into the reserve where you can either go north or south. If you head north towards Tortice Drive, the path runs beside a strip of grass which has a lot of trees and is crossed by a number of drains. Stick to the path, especially since this area is a flood retarding basin and can be affected by sudden rising water after rain. Do not use this area when flooded.
The south end of the reserve opens up to a nice grassy area with a few trees. There are entrance points to the reserve from the east and west sides. After a short time you will pass a basic playground and finally reach Oban Drive.
There are no bins or water tap in the whole reserve.
