Macleod Tennis Club
Macleod Tennis Club was formed in October 1966. We are family friendly and welcome everyone to our club. Our club is located in Macleod Village, just next to the Macleod railway station and bus terminal. The club has 6 courts with lights.
Players of all standards are welcome to join and community members are able to hire our courts and facilities. Macleod Tennis Club offers a broad range of social and competition play catering for all levels and age groups.
Junior Competition
Macleod Tennis Club participates in junior competition via North Eastern Junior Tennis Association (NEJTA). We offer a combination of singles and doubles competition for our more advanced juniors and doubles only for our entry level juniors.
Adult Competition
Macleod Tennis Club participate in night competition via North Eastern Night Tennis Group (NENTG).
Autumn / Spring seasons begin February and August, each year for;
- Tuesday Night - Men (including Veterans)
- Wednesday Night - Women
- Thursday Night - Mixed pairings
The above are Doubles competitions played over 14 rounds (7 home and 7 away games).
Coaching
Wright Tennis offers tennis coaching to players of all ages and standards. They provide the following services:
- Group lessons
- Hot shot lessons
- Private and semi-private lessons
- Adult classes
- Mums Program
- High performance squads
- Team training
- Intra club comp
- Holiday programs
- Birthday parties
- Racquet and equipment sales
Members of the community are able to hire courts.
