Lyons Highland Dance Studio (Vermont South)
Lyons Highland Dance Studio is located in Vermont South and offers classes teaching the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing (SOBHD) technique of Scottish Highland Dancing for all levels of dancers from 3 years to adult.
It was established almost twenty years ago by studio principal Sarah Adams.
Dancers from Lyons Highland Dance Studio travel extensively to compete in competitions and championships interstate and overseas.
At Lyons Highland Dance Studio our aim is to promote Highland Dancing within the community whilst building self esteem, discipline and personal growth in each dancer. Come dance with us in true Scottish fashion, whether you have Scottish blood or not. Meet new friends, get fit and enjoy yourself in style! There are opportunities to take part in concerts and competitions. It's great fun for kids and adults alike; teaching girls and boys from the age of 3 years.
Classes include:
- Primary Class geared towards 3-6 year olds - a fun introduction to Highland Dancing whilst learning basic movements.
- Pre-Premier Class for dancers aged 7 & over or for the advanced Primary Dancer.
- Premier & Championship classes are also offered for the advanced dancers that compete on a regular basis.
- Adults class - for those aged 16 & over who are new to Highland Dancing, a great way to keep fit!
