Lower Plenty Pony Club (Beveridge)
Lower Plenty Pony Club offers horse agistment, PCAV & HRCAV membership and Riders Without Horses riding lessons.
Lower Plenty Pony Club is a pony club with a couple of differences. Firstly, unlike most clubs, we agist members' horses on the premises allowing members the convenience of accessing facilities and equipment, and attending rallies, at the same location where their horse resides. Horses are agisted in either mob paddock or in "mini mob" paddocks (for horses with special needs). Note: There are no private agistment paddocks available at the Club.
Secondly, our focus is on the care and safety of member riders and the horses located at the Club and in our charge. The premises are attended from Monday to Friday by paid staff who check the horses twice daily, paddock fencing once per day and feed horses as required. Staff are on duty each working day and on weekends a roster system of member families operates.
Note: The club has relocated to Beveridge outside Melbourne. The club originated in Lower Plenty on the Simpson Army Barracks land which is the present day Streeton Views housing estate from 1964 (approx) - 1993 and has has endured another three moves since!
