Linton - Clarkesdale Bird Sanctuary
Clarkesdale Bird Sanctuary is a nature reserve focused on protecting and restoring habitat for woodland birds. With a range of habitats, the sanctuary is alive with a huge range of bush birds. There is also a series of wetlands that attract a surprising number of water birds that can easily be viewed from the comfortable bird hides. Spring is a great time to visit - its when the migrants return - however there are always plenty of birds to see at Clarkesdale, no matter the time of year.
