Lillydale Lake North West Dog Off Leash Area (Lilydale)

The dog off leash area is located to the north of the embankment on the north west side of the lake. There are two other off-leash areas at Lillydale Lake - east of lake and south east of lake. There is a nice walk of 2.6 km around the lake on a gravel path. If you want to reach the main off leash area with minimal walking then use the car park in the northeast corner rather than the main car park. This is reached by a road running south from Lilydale Library.

The off leash area is a decent size, around 150 x 100m, and is bordered by a gravel path which has Olinda Creek running around it. The grassy area is dotted with a few trees, two unshaded picnic tables and an arched old tree laying along the ground for play. There is a bin but no water tap in this area.
