Summerfields Wetlands Playground, Lakeview Grove, Mornington

Extensive wooden structure with good height and two nice slides. The main structure also has monkey bars, flying fox, steps, small scrambling wall, animal panels, maze panel, hanging disks, fireman's pole, curved mirror, climbing wall, chain ladder, stepping stones and shop front. Also a see-saw and stand-on spinner. No swings.

There is a BBQ, unshaded table and seats, water tap and toilets. There is very little open play area around the playground but we did manage to find enough for a cricket match - if you allow for the fact that a hit to square leg necessitates a search through the front garden of the neighbouring house. The grass around the playground was very high and could house slithering creatures (I am not allowed to use the s.. word in our family). There are concrete walking tracks leading to some lakes.
