Lakes Entrance - Far Out Charters
Lakes Entrance charter, Far Out, is 7.4 meter custom built Bass Straight and as the name suggests, is suitable for fishing in Bass Strait. She has twin 200hp Optimax Mercury outboards to get you where you're going fast.
Far Out is a dry ride and soft riding mono hull, so you stay warm and comfortable throughout your trip. We have the best fish finding equipment, including a new Furuno fish finder, radar, and GPS. So with equipment like that, the fish haven't got a chance.
We supply you with only the best fishing tackle, including Shimano reels and ugly stick rods, spooled with 30lb line so that big one won't get away.
Bait is also provided. We generally use pilchards and squid, depending on what the fish are eating, as they can be fussy.
One thing we do on Far Out Fishing Charters is make you a tea or coffee on those cold mornings and a biscuit, but this only happens after you catch a snapper. After 10 years of charter fishing we have never come home without making a coffee.
