Laharum - Mount Zero Walk (Grampians National Park)
Follow a 2.8km return rocky track up the northern-most peak of the Grampians, Mount Zero for stunning panoramas out to Mount Stapylton and the surrounding Wimmera Plains. Enjoy a stunning display of wildflowers and native orchids in early spring.
From the Mount Zero picnic area, carefully cross the Halls Gap?Mt Zero Road to the signposted walking track where track markers guide you up the rocky hillside. Near the top of the ridge the track becomes steeper and a hand rail will help you up the rocky steps to the summit. Views of Mt Stapylton, the surrounding Wimmera plains and various olive plantations provide some of the best in the area. Return by the same route.
