Koornang Park Playground, Lyons Street, Carnegie
All of the main structure is under shade cloth. The structure has a lot of elements - one is low to the ground with ramp, block steps, fireman's pole, hanging disks, monkey bars and abacus with coloured disks. This joins via walkways to a higher structure with good wave slide, curved slide and disks on a pole. There is also an apparatus which can be hit to play music (you'll probably sound better than Ringo Starr), stand on spinners, panels, swings including one with harness, two cute springers and a large climbing structure composed of twisted sheets joined together in a ring.
Plenty of shaded tables and seats, BBQs, water tap and toilets. The reserve has a birdie golf cage, cricket nets and fitness station.
Access for Dogs:
- Koornang Park is an on-leash area at all times.
- Neighbouring Lord Reserve offers extensive opportunities for dog off-leash areas.
