King George VI Memorial Reserve Playground, East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East
Quirky, fun playground covered in shade sails but without a huge amount of challenge. The structure for younger children has a slide, sloping climbing mat, cylinders with animal shapes, shop front, tunnel, disks on a vertical pole and block steps. A large but low rope climbing frame, basket swing, large dinosaur, very large bug springers, plastic music panel, suspended seat swing, stand-on spinner, hanging spinner and a plastic basketball "net".
Rotunda with two tables, shaded seats, BBQs, water tap and toilets. Also a golf practice cage, oval, tennis hit-up wall and tennis courts.
Access for Dogs:
- The western side of King George VI Memorial Reserve closest to East Boundary Road (including the playground and the western oval) is on-leash.
- The eastern oval closest to Chesterville Road is off-leash.
