Kimberley Drive Reserve Playground, Chirnside Park
The old playground has been removed and a new playground built further along Kimberley Drive near the Chirnside Park Primary School.
The playground, which has quite limited play equipment, is set among a group of trees and includes tyre steps leading up to a platform with a metal slide, four swings including one with a harness, large sandpit with five concrete cylinders partly filled with sand (exact function unknown), nice suspended tyre swing resembling a giraffe and an equally nice jumble of wooden logs and stumps to climb over and walk along.
There is a large basketball / netball court, water tap with bowl, shaded and unshaded tables, wooden outdoor gym (pull-up, hurdles and steps), two interesting totem poles and grassy areas.
