Kellett Reserve Playground, Fitzwilliam Street, Kew
Nicely created playground with wooden structures. Main structure has a spiral slide, unusual ladder representing branches of a tree, flexible fireman's pole coming down the centre of the structure and slanting ladder with semi-circle steps. Some skill is required to get to the slide. Why don't designers have the first step of the slanting ladder a bit lower so that kids can reach it without the aid of Dad? - after twenty lifts Dad wished we had gone to another playground! Also monkey bars, flying fox, four swings, number of climbing walls, spinning tea-cup and springer. There is also a smaller lower structure. Water tap. Elegant shaded tables and bench seats (this is too posh an area to just call them plain seats)
