Jump Deck Trampoline Centre (Knoxfield)

Jump Deck Trampoline Centre (Knoxfield)

Update 21/9/22: Permanently Closed.

The Trampoline Centre has a range of zones including:

Dodge Ball - The Dodge Ball arenas are spaces where you can let your arms swing with cannon-balls ..well, not quite, but I think you get the idea!

As a trampoline sport it doesn't get any headier than this! Curl-jump the soft missile towards your opponent .. and of course, wriggle and wiggle to avoid the missiles from the other side! If you get hit, you're out! Last one standing wins .. and if you're registered with us, your 'win' will be logged in our database for exciting play-off periods, where great prizes can be won!

This is great for parties or for corporate functions .. and a safe way to let off steam!

Le Parcours - The Free-Jump area, Le Parcours, is the hub of our Park: everything else is the minor act, while this one is the main show! With over 50 interconnected trampolines, this space is like the 'trampoline' equivalent of a skate park! Create your own freestyle 'jumping lines' as you leap from tramp to tramp and bounce off walls: this is where Spiderman trained and built his feline muscles! The better you get the more you can create your own freestyle 'jumping lines'. We call it Le Parcours - but the only obstacle you will encounter is yourself. Whether you crawl, or jump, or do some aerial ballet, the skills you develop here will serve you well in life:

Their bodies were splendid, flexible, nimble, skilful, enduring, and resistant but yet they had no other tutor in gymnastics but their lives in nature.

Thus George Hebert, who had observed the naturally athletic motions of Africans; and the notion of the parkour was born! Experience Le Parcours at Jumpdeck now - and develop the lion heart of the urban native!

Super Jump - Those born with little wings attached to their shoulder-blades will love this area! Jumpdeck affords a dedicated space for trampolinists, acrobats and those who are into skiing, wake- boarding, etc.

Review:

Jump Deck has a range of facilities on two levels. Near the ground floor reception area are two birthday rooms (one is large, light and airy with glass walls), four small round tables and a kiosk.

A corridor leads to the main arena with a number of areas. The "Junior Jump" area is limited to kids less than 110cm and has nine small trampolines with one high sloping wall to bounce off. Next to this is the "Foam Pit" with three short lanes with a foam pit at the end. Next to this is the AFL / Slam Dunk area which has an area of trampolines, basketball rungs and a huge pit of soft orange balls to jump into and loll about like a contented hippo.

The "Super Jump" area is for more experienced people and is a really exciting area with some trampolines recessed into the floor, a foam pit in the corner, a stack of mats piled up in order to jump off (with optional flip) and a side wall which steps up in height to be very high which you can jump off to land on a soft area or a trampoline.

In the far corner is the "Free Jump" area which is quite large (but not enormous) with 36 trampolines and opportunities to bounce off the wall.

There are also two dodgeball courts.

Stairs lead from the main arena to a small viewing platform (standing room only), two more birthday rooms which are a little Spartan but have a nice clean and airy feel, an open area with some tables and a TV showing kid's videos plus a very extensive play area (Playzone) for kids less than 120cm high. The play area would do a Play Centre proud and is surrounded by a fence with safety gate. The play area has a range of slides, ball pit, underwater sea feature, ball canons and two level play structure. Entry to this area is free when combined with a Junior Jumper ticket (under 110cm).

The is no air-conditioning except for a few small fans on the walls, although a roller door can be opened to let in air.

There is a couch and seats scattered about for seating for spectators.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall the Centre has the usual facilities with the added attraction of the "Super Jump" area for more experienced jumpers. The size of the building means that most sections are a little smaller and cramped than some other trampoline centres. The centre is a winner for kids under 110cm because they can do some jumping and also have fun in the Playzone upstairs.
