Jubilee Park Playground, Hillcrest Road, Frankston
A lovely playground with a nature theme running throughout. The main structure has a twisty spiral slide which has access via spiral steps or a rope ladder followed by a sloping net walkway. This structure also has a wave slide and fireman's pole. Beside this is an area with a drum which is accessible via a concrete path, steps or pipe ladder. This area also has a wave slide, distorting mirrors, low climbing walls and two in-ground trampolines.
A little tunnel leads to a sandpit bordered by a lovely wall with sculptures of animals and birds. This area has a fishing theme and is adorned with metal fishing nets (also great for catching little kids), huge shells, eels and fish.
Other equipment includes a birds nest swing, horizontal bars, standard swings, flying fox and monkey bars. There is nice landscaping and interesting elements such as kangaroo sculptures and fern impressions in the concrete steps.
There is a shelter with nice butterfly wing roof which I assume will get a table and BBQ in the future. Some unshaded seats, basketball court and big grassy areas. Next to an oval and toilets (locked when we visited). The playground was upgraded in 2016.
