Jack Roper Reserve Playground, Camp Road, Broadmeadows
A super playground where kids can have plenty of adventures. Step past a big dragon at the entrance and a large wooden fort awaits. It has high walkways running around the top, scrambling wall, various ladders, fireman's pole, climbing wall, distorting mirrors, little metal slide, big metal slide, rope net bridge and wobbly walkway.
Beside the castle is a tower with steps up to a super twisty tunnel slide. The tower is surrounded by a dry moat, wooden bow of a ship with steering wheel and tiller, lots of musical instruments, four-person seesaw with horse seats, two wooden cubbies with percussion pipes and Liberty swing for those in a wheelchair.
On the side of the playground is a dual flying fox with disk seats, climbing cube with climbing wall, ladders and rope nets, a rope climbing area, pyramid shaped rope climbing frame, hammock, birds nest swing, four standard swings and basketball half court.
There is some grassy area for play and 100 m away is a large lake. In the playground area is a shelter with one table and two seats and a water tap.
Further away is a building with toilets which has a roof containing six tables. Also a long row of shelters, tables, BBQs and water taps back to the playground set under shady trees.
