Inverloch Surf Beach
Inverloch Surf Beach is a great "learn to surf" beach. It is a narrow beach fronted by extensive intertidal sand flats and shoals, including some areas of rock flats. A low energy, sandy shore runs along the front of town, with the beach facing south-east into the mouth of the inlet.
A popular beach for all ages, the Inverloch Surf Beach extends from the sandy Point Norman on the inlet mouth through to Wreck Creek near Flat Rocks. It is a lovely long sandy beach with only one small area of rocks.
This beach is patrolled by the Inverloch Surf Lifesaving Club during peak periods. There are toilets, change facilities, cold water showers, seven tables, BBQ and water tap near the Surf Lifesaving Club. Car parking is available and cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are available close by in the in the township of Inverloch.
An interesting element is the Amazon Shipwreck which is the most significant shipwreck on Victoria's coast and the only wooden shipwreck.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are not permitted on the beach 9am-6pm, 1st Dec to 14th Apr. On-leash at all other times.
