Inverleigh Nature Conservation Reserve

This area is also known as the Inverleigh Flora and Fauna Reserve. The reserve has an amazing biodiversity including rare orchids, abundant bird life, koalas and marsupials.

Inverleigh Flora Loop Walk
Explore the grassy woodlands and endangered ecological vegetation of the Inverleigh Conservation Reserve on this 10km walk.
Managed by Parks Victoria, and starting at the information shelter located on Old Teesdale Track off Common Road, this trail follows management tracks. Open year round, over 100 bird species have been spotted here, along with kangaroos, echidnas and koalas.

Kangaroo Track Walk
Of the grassy woodlands that once existed in Victoria, only 1% remains. Explore some of it via this 4.3km track.
Starting at the information shelter located on Old Teesdale Track off Common Road, this trail follows management tracks, providing a shorter loop than the Inverleigh Flora Loop but capturing the essence of the Reserve. Watch for deep sandy sections and lots of wildlife.

General Access - Follow the Inverleigh-Teesdale Road through to the northern most part of the park and just as you are about to exit the wooded area there are two dirt tracks on either side of the bitumen road. The track on the western side (left when coming from Inverleigh) has an information sign which you can use to help navigate your way through the park reserve. There are a series of these dirt tracks which criss-cross their way through the reserve and are partly signposted.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are permitted but must be on-leash and remain on the tracks.
