Hurlingham Park Tennis Club (Brighton East)
Established in 1923, Hurlingham Park Tennis Club has six synthetic grass courts, four which are under lights located in Hurlingham Park, Brighton East. There is also a small 'Hot Shots' court.
With over 370 members, it has a strong Junior membership with 14 teams playing across Saturday/Sunday competitions plus men's Tuesday night & Saturday afternoon senior competition.
Competition
Hurlingham Park Tennis Club has teams in the following competitions:
- Junior weekend competition schedule
- Moorabbin & Districts Junior Tennis Association - Saturday morning competition (17 & under)
- Bayside Regional Tennis Association - Sunday morning competition (17 & under)
- Pennant
- Tuesday Night - Men's doubles
- Saturday afternoon - Mens Doubles/Singles
Coaching
Regan Morehu is the director and head coach of RM Tennis. He brings years of tennis knowledge and expertise with worldwide experience in both his playing and coaching ability. Regan is also a qualified personal trainer and implements this knowledge to help develop the physical side of the player on and off the court. He has a great understanding of technical biomechanics and his holistic approach and implicit coaching style ensures he gets the best out of the individual player.
Court Hire
The club does not hire out courts to the public.
Visitor fees (playing with a member) are $5 per person with a maximum of 4 visits per year. It is encouraged that if the visitor wishes to play more than the allocated visits to become a member.
