Hume and Hovell Adventure Playground, Mt Ridley Road, Craigieburn
A playground to celebrate the exploits of the Hume and Hovell expedition from near Sydney to Melbourne. The playground is located in an isolated position with tremendous views of the Melbourne skyline. You can "Conquer the Dividing Range" aka a structure with curved slide, tic-tac-toe, inclined ladders, inclined climber, monkey rungs, ascending steps, chain bridge, climbing wall, arched walkway, wave slide, telescope (mandatory for such views) and steps. Then "Swing Through the Trees" on four swings, "Explore the Forest" on stepping stones, "Climb the Boulders", "Cross the Rivers" on a huge suspended walkway, "Over the Mountains" across a range of nets and ropes and "Race Back Home" on twin flying foxes with disk seats. There are unshaded seats and the playground is located next to a bike path and grassy areas.
