Hosken Reserve Playground, Blackshaws Road, Altona North
Fun playground mostly suited to younger kids. Kangaroo man sculpture towers over the playground, which is part of a longer sculpture trail. At the foot of the sculpture is a long plank balance circuit, birds nest swing, two standard swings, spinning sit-on disk, speak and listen system, swing with the ropes seat, musical area with drums and clangers and an activity wall.
At the other end of the playground is a structure with two wave sides, curved scrambling wall, walkway of suspended disks, fireman's pole and rope ladders.
In the middle of the playground area is a shelter with table, BBQs and water tap. There is another shelter with two tables, basketball/netball court, outdoor gym and toilets. There is a fenced dog park nearby. The reserve is the start point for the Kororoit Creek Sculpture Trail which has quirky sculptures.
