Hopwood Gardens Playground, High Street, Echuca
At the end of the playground is a paddlesteamer structure (what else would you expect next to Echuca port). Climb a ladder up the chimney to a platform with a large steering wheel and tunnel slide. You can also reach the platform by a sloping rope net. There are hanging disks, big fat rope and log steppers leading to the other end of the steamer which has a climbing wall.
There is also a huge turtle shell cubby, see-saw, big wooden cubby with short wide slide, water hand pump with channel leading under a bridge to the drain, three swings including one with the harness seat, cup to sit in and spin around, log stump steppers and stand-on spinner.
Within the playground area is an unshaded table and water tap. Outside is a grassy area, huge shelter with seats and another shelter with table and BBQ. Located right next to the Paddle steamer docking area and where the major tourist attractions are found.
