Holmesglen Reserve Playground, Power Avenue, Ashwood
The upgraded playground now has an interesting playground. The main structure has steps leading up to an elevated platform with wave slide, rope ladder, hanging disks and shop front. Around the structure is a bridge walkway, two flying foxes (with disk seats), metal pipes to hit clangers against, three swings (birds nest swing, standard swing and swing with harness), stand on spinner, log stump balance course and big unshaded sandpit.
There is a shelter with two tables and BBQs plus extensive grassy areas.
Holmesglen Reserve / Jingella is situated along the Gardiners Creek trail and near the Scotchmans Creek trail and Waverley Rail Trail.
Facilities in the reserve include a sheltered BBQ and picnic tables.
The reserve has sporting fields which are home to the Harlequin Rugby Club (two rugby pitches) and the Chadstone Cricket Club (one cricket oval) plus cricket nets.
