Grange Reserve Playground, Hogans Road, Hoppers Crossing
The playground has a number of areas. The first section closest to the car parking area has a large climbing frame from many twisted sheets, small structure with slide, fireman's pole, steering wheel and abacus plus stand-on spinner and swings. There is a shelter with table and BBQs, unshaded tables and water tap.
The highlight is a huge structure with three high, metal, tunnel slides. The route to the lowest slide is via steps and the route to the higher slides is via a rope bridge or ladders. Unfortunately we found the slides to not be very slippery and the ride down a bit stop-start. As well as the slides there are four climbing walls, a very safe, high rope traverse, panels where you can make pictures from little cylinders with patterns on them (to me it seemed that someone had played a cruel trick and made the puzzle impossible to solve). There is also a spinner which you hang on to with your arms and a large bee springer.
Shelter with seats, unshaded seats and a big circular basketball court. There are toilets nearby that you can use that are open on the weekends (set times) that are in the Community Centre.
