Hodgson Reserve Playground, 30 Higgins Road, Bentleigh
A brilliant innovative play area comprising a huge game of snakes and ladders on a three dimensional board at least four metres square and a huge metal dice. The board is set under shade sails. Around the board is a shelter with two tables, BBQs, water tap, lovely colourful round tables with button mushroom seats and unshaded wooden picnic table.
The game is located up the hill from the Bentleigh McKinnon Youth Centre. There are two other playgrounds in this reserve. There is an outdoor gym in the north east of the reserve behind the GEKA Bentleigh Kindergarten.
- The open space sportsground area of Hodgson Reserve is off leash. However, it should be noted, that dogs must be on-leash within 20 metres of playgrounds and barbecues.
- The playground areas and upper level of Hodgson Reserve are on-leash at all times.
