Hillview Community Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Dromana)

Hillview Community Reserve is located opposite the shopping strip which has the Dromana General Store. At the car park there are toilets which are locked during summer from 10 pm to 6 am and during winter from 9 pm to 7 am. There is a water tap outside the toilets where someone has placed a dog bowl. At the entrance to the park is a shelter with three tables and BBQs, table under trees, unshaded table and bins.

Immediately to the right is a dam surrounded by reeds with deep water. A gravel path leads down from the hill above which is used by MTB riders so take care of any bikes. There are huge grassy areas with a medium slope. A gravel path leads to a pump track 200m from the entrance. There are patches of thick bush and long grass spread around the reserve which are best avoided due to the possible danger from snakes. There are also some scattered trees in the reserve in the grassy area.
