Montgomery Reserve Playground, Hilda Street, Essendon
Me hearties. The first port of call for all ye pirates is the treasure map on the sail mast. Find your way to the treasure chest and riches for life - provided mum and dad don't beat you to it, and then you have to rely on their inheritance.
In a sea (of sand) there are two lovely wooden rowing boats, barrel of gunpowder, THAT treasure chest, whales, hammock, two swings and spinning rope cylinder. Also a four person pommel bounce.
In the playground area there is a big circular unshaded seat.
Also a huge shelter with table and seats and BBQs, unshaded table, water tap, toilets and grassy areas.
Across the reserve is another playground with a huge metal slide, double sided tennis wall, basketball half court, pump track, cricket nets and two free to use tennis courts.
