Highfield Park Playground, Highfield Road, Camberwell
Take your bravery pills before coming here. There is a giant metal dragon guarding the entrance which is climbable (if you dare). There is a dragon climbing frame body and a tunnel tail.
Look up at the shade sails covering a lot of the playground and you might think it's a pterodactyl screeching down to pick you up and take you back to its nest.
The playground also has a high castle with two towers connected by a rope bridge with curved tunnel slide, dual slides, cubby, tunnel, maze panel, clanger to hit against pipes, speak and listen system, rope net ladder and shop front.
There is a spinning carousel, a 3m high fitness challenge which is a single rope climb, three standard swings and one expression swing where the child and carer face each other.
There are three tables, BBQs, water tap, unshaded seats and next to an oval. The areas beside the road and carpark are fenced.
