Hertford Road Playground, Doncaster East
The playground is suited to younger kids and has a low play structure with short dual slides, vertical square rope climbing frame, monkey bars, shop front, hooped ladder, steering wheel and steps.
The playground area also has the bow of a ship, spinning cup with hand wheel, crocodile lying in wait for anyone careless enough to come within snapping distance, swings and a lovely wooden car with two steering wheels and a manual gear change.
Nearby is an unshaded table and seat plus a water tap. 50m away is a basketball court. The playground is set in quite a big grassy area dotted with trees and crossed by paths. The playground has been upgraded.
