Henderson Reserve Playground, Watt Street, Thornbury
A cute playground with equipment which has a touch of pizazz. The main structure has a big curved slide, vertical rope tunnel net, straight slide, monkey bars, "four in a row" panel game, Corner Store shop front, steps, tic-tac-toe, a panel showing off the magic of gears and horizontal and vertical climbing nets.
Next to this is a big cube with rope climbing nets, climbing walls and other obstacles to traverse.
There is also a big sandpit surrounded by logs and rocks with a big rock in the middle and a sand play table, red spinning cup with hand wheel, birds nest swing and standard swings.
There is an unshaded table and seats. Next to the playground is an off-lead dog park which has an asphalt path running around it in an oval shape.
