With a great variety of facilities and programs on offer, the Harold Holt Swim Centre has something for everybody!
Come and enjoy lap swimming or just relax and unwind in one of our heated pools: take your pick between the 25m indoor pool, 50m outdoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, toddlers' pool, spas and sauna (perfect for this time of year!)
'The Holt' also has a wide range of education, fitness and rehabilitation programs including the learn to swim program for all ages (from babies aged 6 months to adults), aerobics, aqua aerobics, body bar, yoga, pilates, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy.
If you're a keen lap swimmer, this is the place for you with squad training with the 'Malvern Academy of Swimming' or 'Malvern Marlins Swimming Club' and the popular Fitswim swimming class. Why not have a goal to train for - every November the Centre hosts the 'Take the Plunge Swim Classic,' one of Melbourne's favourite pool swim events.
After all that exercise you may have an appetite, so sit back in the 'Bean Swimmin' Cafe and enjoy a well-earned coffee and healthy breakfast or lunch.
Learn to Swim
The Harold Holt Swim Centre Learn to Swim Program offers swimming lessons for infants, preschool and school aged children, right through to adults. Our program builds confidence and enjoyment of the water for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
We take pride in creating a learning environment that is fun, safe and professional, and caters to the needs of each student. All teachers are AUSTSWIM qualified, with some licensed to teach multiple disciplines, including infants, adults, access all abilities classes. We run our program over four quarters per year.
